A variety of mig and tig welding gloves are available for welders. I have
several pairs I use for different jobs. Sometimes the right set of welding
gloves is a matter of taste, and in other cases, just a matter of good sense.
I'll go over some welding glove options here.
When you find welding gloves you like, I recommend
you get at least three pairs. They can get burned or ragged pretty quickly. Even
good ones can get damaged in hard, hot work. Protection is your first priority
when it comes to selecting a welding glove, but fit is nearly as important. If
your welding gloves don't fit, you aren't going to draw a good bead.
One size fits all Top-grain leather gloves protect against welding hazards.
Extra-long to protect wrists and forearms. With you working to throw sparks,
protection up your forearms is a big help.
Smooth, double-tanned select leather.
One-piece palm and thumb. Split leather, bell cuff, triple-stitched tab. These
welding gloves come in large. I like them for my hand size.
These are excellent welder's
gloves. Sold by the dozen, they are more for a shop or someone who intends to
only buy his welding gloves every once in a while. Smooth, double-tanned select
leather. One-piece palm and thumb. Split leather, bell cuff, triple-stitched
tab. Size Large.
