Reviews of the ESAB line of MIG welders
As the largest manufacturer of welding equipment in the world, ESAB offers an extensive selection of industrial mig welders. Any opinions expressed are strictly my own, but I really like the functionality of the ESAB mig welders line.
All of these welders are designed and constructed to withstand extensive use in rugged industrial and construction environments. Numerous mig welder models can operate as tig and stick welders in addition to their mig welding capabilities. They are also good for hobbyists who really want top flight mig welding machines.
My opinion is that ESAB mig welders are some of the best in the industry. The company is a "major" and you can buy ESAB parts virtually anywhere. You won't have to worry about supporting your ESAB mig welder in the future, and there will be plenty of upgrades and a large knowledge base available from ESAB.

ESAB Migmaster 250 Mig Welder
Trigger activated wire feed, shielding gas, and welding arc. This ESAB Mig welder is one of the best I've seen. Good looking packages are available with a variety of power options. You can also choose the Mig master 250 with a spool gun. Spool-On-Gun Packages include the indicated spool gun and all components necessary to install it on the ESAB Migmaster 250 Mig welder. The spool gun is set up to run 3/64" wire.

Are you getting enough info in your operator's manual (When all else fails)? A good little book on Mig welders is ESAB's "Mig Welding Handbook" revised in 1994.
